At Springhouse we set aside approximately 10% of our yearly budget for missions. For 2018, we have budgeted $78,200 to missions! More than money, though, we want to urge you to get involved personally.
Jesus said the greatest commandments are to love God and to love our neighbors. Springhouse provides many opportunities to be the hands and feet of Christ to our neighbors locally and around the world through short-term missions trips and through local charity work.
Below are some ways you can involve yourself in missions at Springhouse Worship and Arts Center. For more information about upcoming missions trips, ongoing outreach or how you can support our missions locally and around the globe contact Missions Pastor Alan Smith at Alan.Smith@SpringhouseSmyrna.com.
Service Opportunity / 3rd Saturday
We provide food for residents of Mayfield Manor. We meet each month on the third Saturday beginning at 9:00 AM.
If you are interested in more information or volunteering, contact Rick and Angie Beshearse at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Soup 4 Seniors
Our ministry of providing foods for some of the seniors at the
LaVergne Senior Center sprang from a need of about 8 to 10 of the seniors who frequent the center on a regular basis but find themselves in need. As the saying goes, they have more month than money. Our desire is to see that they miss no meals during this time. We do this through quarterly church-wide can drive collections throughout the year.

J.O.Y – Just Older Youth
As an extension of the food ministry that was already in place, the opportunity to minister to the retirement community at Mayfield Manor came to us in July 2017. In addition to delivering food monthly, we go and love on them a little extra with bingo games and giveaways from time to time. This past Christmas as a church-wide outreach, we sang Christmas carols and gave cards and ornaments the children of Springhouse had made.
