Every kid matters

At Springhouse Church, we love kids! We believe every kid matters and we are intentional to provide an experience that will influence their faith through dynamic worship, interactive teaching, intentional small groups, and tons of fun! We want your kids to leave each Sunday excited about knowing God.

Our motto in Springhouse KIDS is to plant seeds, deepen roots, and cultivate fruit.

What to expect

Early Childhood

From babies through Preschool, it is our mission to provide safe, loving care. At our 9am Early Gathering, we provide four different classes (babies-1s, 2s, 3s, and 4s-5’s) and during our 10:30am Main Gathering, we have up to eight classrooms open based on age.  In both services the kids get to enjoy playtime, crafts, games, snacks, worship and a Bible lesson grounded in God’s word and shaped so that even the littlest one’s can understand.

On Wednesday nights at 6pm, for our Midweek Gathering, our little ones are split into two groups (Babies-1s & 2s-5s). Kids get to enjoy some time getting their evening wiggles out as well as a Bible lesson and a craft.  For each of our gatherings, weather permitting, classes will take turns playing outside on the playground. We are happy to accommodate special requests when it comes to the comfort of your child.

Elementary

Our elementary program serves children from kindergarten through 5th grade.

Sunday, 9:00 AM Kindergarten and 1st graders have their own space to gather and connect. They have a time of worship, Bible Lesson, games, a craft and a snack – plus a new memory verse every four weeks. They can develop relationships with each other and learn what God wants for their lives in a setting that is suited for their young minds.

Second through 5th graders meet in a larger space where they have a Bible lesson, games and discussions based on that lesson, with worship and small group time. We encourage the kids to develop a relationship with God in a fun and engaging way.

Sunday, 10:30 AM Kindergarten and 1st graders meet in their own dedicated space. Each week they enjoy worship, games, puppet shows, crafts, snacks and a dynamic object lesson that all reinforce the Bible lesson. They gather in small group for memory verse activities that invite deeper, interactive discussion to encourage their young minds to think and ask questions.

Second through 5th graders experience a high-energy service filled with worship, games, crafts, snacks, communion, and an object lesson that pair with Bible teaching. Small group break outs by grade help kids to dive deeper into their lesson with time for questions/answers as well as reviewing the memory verse. We make time for intentional breaks designed to support healthy attention spans.

Our curriculum is richly Bible-centered. It helps children hear God’s Word, grow in knowing Jesus and take steps to go and live out their faith – building a foundation for lifelong discipleship.

Wednesday, 6:00 PM – Kindergarten – 5th graders are all together during this time. They enjoy a time of worship, which we encourage the kids to sign up for and lead each week, as well as games and an exciting object lesson to get them engaged in the Bible lesson. This is an exciting, high-energy 1 hour.
