The name “Parenthesis” was chosen by Isaac Meek because of the way we talk to each other online. Often times, we don’t say what we mean until we put our true feelings in parenthesis. When we talk in the parenthesis, we are talking about what is going on inside ourselves. And, that’s what counts.

Pastor Kevin and his leadership team are dedicated to building relationships with the teens and modeling the love of Jesus Christ by spotlighting “who” is on the inside. The teens meet weekly to worship, be encouraged, and grow in their faith. We desire to be an authentic and genuine representation of Jesus Christ in all that we say and do.

Paul said, in Romans 12, “So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.” (MSG)
