During free time, I: sleep (for sure), go to movies (especially new releases), and lounge around the house with my wife Shari.

One favorite memory: The first time I went snowboarding. The person that I went with decided that I did not need to practice on the bunny slopes. Instead, he took me up to a black diamond- from which I plummeted almost to my death. I thought I was going to meet Jesus that day!

Ministry history: As a teen, I worked in Children’s Ministry at Franklin Road Baptist Church. Once I began attending Smyrna Assembly, I quickly began working with the children here in Cool Church. Simultaneously, I was leading a Young Adult ministry called POWER, which encompassed several different churches in the Murfreesboro area. The Lord had me lay that down, and my energies were focused on Children’s Ministry. I was asked to join the staff at Smyrna Assembly as the Assistant Children’s Pastor. Shortly after, the Lord began to use me to build a Young Adult ministry at Smyrna Assembly. In 2009, I was named Young Adult Pastor and continue to serve as the Young Adult Pastor at Springhouse Worship and Arts Center.
