Springhouse Worship and Arts Center sent a team to Rio Bravo Ministries.

Missionary Ray Hanson, who runs a children's home in Reynosa, Mexico, urgently needed help and we were able to respond! In order to complete some construction he needed some electrical work done quickly. Our team left for a quick trip and spent two full days framing, hanging drywall and running electrical wiring for outlets and lights.

Of course, it wasn't all work. The team also had their meals with the children and staff. And they played with and loved on the children. Bubbles and balloons were a big hit for the younger children. And they all loved it when the “Americans” would “push, push” them on the swings and the merry-go-rounds.

It was a joy for the team to spend time with Ray, Leah and their adult son Spencer, now the school's principal. Our team encouraged them and they encouraged our faith when the team saw we saw what The Lord is doing through them there. It was wonderful to continue developing and deepening relationships with such precious saints of God.

We are so honored that Ray thought of us when he needed help. And we are so blessed that we were able to respond quickly to meet his needs.
